Pragmatic Play

Pragmatic Play is one of the most innovative and well-respected providers in the iGaming industry, with a dedication to commercial and technical probity that sets it apart from the competition. The company’s multi-product portfolio of slot games – including Buffalo King Megaways, Wolf Gold and Da Vinci’s Treasure – is developed in-house with unique math models that deliver immersive gameplay.

The company’s library is available on a wide variety of platforms, from regulated casinos to white label operators. The company’s commitment to compliance with iGaming laws has helped the firm become one of the most widely-accredited providers in the market, with licenses from major gaming jurisdictions such as the UK, Malta and Romania.

When Pragmatic Play first appeared on the scene several years ago it launched with a game library that included titles originally developed by TopGame. It is fair to say that this was a questionable decision. TopGame was a troubled operator that had a reputation for software glitches and financial improprieties. It also seemed to have a penchant for providing games to rogue operators that were blacklisted here on this site.

It seems that the same people were behind TopGame and Pragmatic Play. This is suggested by the fact that Yair Hamami, a senior TopGame executive, was listed as the legal owner of Pragmatic Play in the so called Paradise Papers leak of offshore company structures from 2017. It would be possible to argue that Hamami bought the company after his time at TopGame ended but we think it is more likely that he was the legal owner of Pragmatic Play from the start.
